Mojave to Kennedy Meadows to Kearsarge Pass and the town of Independence, day 76, mile 788

I am having an amazing experience. So many of you have told me how much you enjoy my sharing. I enjoy it too... some of the time. I am finding that I fret about my next entry, that I struggle to find computers,  and that Internet connection is spotty at best.

In short, I am feeling stressed about my entries and not having fun with them,  so I am going to stop. When I can, I will put brief updates about where I am.

I am having a great adventure and so appreciate all of your support. Perhaps I can host a big get-together when I get home and share my stories in person.

I have found in the last week that I have transitioned from "heading to the next town" to a more at home feeling on the trail. The trail truly is my home right now.

There is a saying on the trail that the last person to Canada and Manning Park wins. Well, I do have a competitive spirit so I am going for the "win". Wish me luck!

Love to all of you.💗

  2. Good luck! Whenever you get to the end of the trail will be the perfect time to be there. To feel at home wherever you are at the moment is a great accomplishment. "it's not the destination… It's the journey. " To know that kind of contentment is the goal of all of us and probably why we all have enjoyed your blog so much. You are living the dream! I do hope that as you settle comfortably into this journey that you find that sharing becomes a joy and not a stress - but you have my complete support with or without a blog. xo Mom

  3. Enjoy your journey and do not stress about posting entries. I'm surethane we can all catch up with you at the Pourhouse sometime. The photos are great. Looks like a great trip with many more adventures ahead. Be safe and take care.
